They are now looking for a skilled Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant to join their growing team in a fully remote setup.

What You’ll Be Doing
 
Reporting directly to the Director , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our expanding financial operations database. You will manage end-to-end cloud bookkeeping and ensure our clients receive a seamless, world-class experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Execute Full-Function Bookkeeping: Manage daily, weekly, and fortnightly cloud-based bookkeeping workflows efficiently across a diverse client database.

  • Oversee Ledger Integrity: Maintain the general ledger, complete comprehensive bank reconciliations, and accurately manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

  • Streamline Payroll & Compliance: Administer timely payroll processing and assist with the accurate preparation of IAS and BAS documentation.

  • Elevate Client Experience: Drive exceptional client interactions by proactively communicating outstanding tax, accounting, and software support needs well ahead of critical deadlines.

  • Resolve Queries Collaboratively: Respond to client and team inquiries promptly, managing tasks on strict schedules and escalating complex issues to guarantee precise outcomes.

 
What You’ll Bring
 
  • Proven Software Expertise: Solid, hands-on experience utilizing Xero accounting software to manage financial records.

  • Multitasking Mastery: A proven ability to successfully balance and pivot between multiple client accounts seamlessly every day.

  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, strong time management, and a methodical approach to managing set schedules and deadlines.

  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for professional, direct client interaction.

  • Verifiable Track Record: Ability to provide professional references that validate your core accounting, bookkeeping, and software capabilities.

Bonus Points For:
 
  • Previous experience working with Australian accounting standards, tax systems, and compliance frameworks (BAS/IAS).

  • Familiarity with modern, integrated cloud bookkeeping ecosystem apps and project management tools.
